Not many people in life have experienced a ‘dream run’ to success. In fact, life is full of setbacks and even tragedies that could have potentially put an end to dreams. But the difference between successful people and those who seem to end up with no direction in life, is not so much what life has dealt them , but rather how they have rebounded from misfortune and hardships.
As the Chinese philosopher Confucius said ‘Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall’.
It is a tough lesson in life that our character is often tried, tested and finally forged by the difficulties that we have to face.
The great physicist Albert Einstein maintained, however, that ‘in the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity’.
It is this sort of attitude that helps us to look forward to better days, to keep on trying when there seems no hope at all, to stay focused on our dreams and finally, gives us the ability to rebound from life’s difficulties.
Do you have a rebound story about your or someone you know.??
Have you or someone you know shown a resilient attitude to life’s obstacles??
Share your story with others.

The story of the people that kayaked across to New Zealand is pretty amazing because they not only had to kayak across but they got stuck in a whirlpool, which took them all the way back to Australia, but they didn’t give up they started again and made it.

Well, I heard this story yesterday in a production about a girl who was a cyclist and her goal was to get into the olympic games. One day she was in a race when suddenly her front tyre hit a different cyclist tyre and she fell off her bike. She was 2mm away from being paralized from the neck down. luckily she didn’t give up and she eventually got back on her bike and finaly got into the olympic games!;-)
